Student Life

Annual Camps

Co-curricular programmes play a crucial role in school life at Kinross Wolaroi School. The aim of such activities is to provide our students with the best possible all round education so that each boy or girl can achieve to the best of his or her ability.

Towards the end of Term 1, a camp is held that involves the majority of the school. During this week Year 7 are involved in an activity week that develops and strengthens peer relations and confidence. All other students from Years 8-9 are involved in the Annual Cadet Week camp or the Music Camp. Senior students who have elected to continue their involvement in Cadets or Music also attend these camps. Year 11 students not involved in Music or Cadets undertake a Work Experience programme during this time. This activity augments the school careers programme. A Retreat is organised for the Year 12s not involved in Cadets or Music Camps.
