The Chaplain works in the implementation and nurturing of Uniting Church ethos and values, the provision of pastoral care, worship, teaching and other responsibilities. ![]()
The Chaplain takes a role in counselling, hospital and home visits and assisting in broader pastoral issues. The Chaplain's pastoral interest extends to the broader Kinross Wolaroi community.
The Chaplain leads morning Chapel services for student House groups, student-prepared and led School Chapel services and communion services. The liturgical seasons of Lent and Advent are celebrated on a whole school level. The Chaplain also conducts evening services for boarders. Assemblies and meetings commence with prayer and devotion. The Chaplain also conducts services such as dedications, Graduation and Inductions.
The Chaplain and Head of Religion work collaboratively on charity and service at local, national and international levels.
The Chaplain is a visible and readily accessible member of the Staff with his office within the Student Support Suite.
