Rowing Club

Rowing is a hugely popular pastime at KWS and new students and parents are always welcome. The KWS Boat Club was formed in 2004 and since then our rowers have enjoyed success at the highest level. Our rowing team’s rapid rise to success has been based on three key factors:

  • Committed team members
  • Dedicated and experienced coaches
  • Supportive and involved parents

Parent Support

The KWS Boat Club would not exist without the wonderful support of parents. The ability to transport the entire club to any regatta has given our rowers many opportunities to compete against quality fields, assisting and progressing their development as technically proficient competitors. There are plenty of opportunities for parents to be involved. These include:

  • Towing our catering trailer to regattas
  • Loading and unloading boats
  • Catering for regattas and training camps
  • Setting up tents at regattas
  • Assisting staff in organising students
  • General administration
