Dr Andrew Parry is one of the best credentialed educators in Australia with academic qualifications including a Doctor of Philosophy (University of Cambridge), Master of Philosophy (University of Cambridge) and a Master of Education (University of Sydney). Andrew possesses a lifetime of experience of living and working in leading independent schools in Australia and England and brings with him extensive operational experience across all aspects of the life of a boarding school.

A true ‘Renaissance man’, Andrew has represented Australia on the rugby field and coached sport at representative levels. He is an artist, musician and student of architecture, history and philosophy. Andrew is driven by the opportunities educators possess to inspire and empower students to discover and realise their full potential and believes education should be deliberately structured to develop the whole person. He is widely regarded as a leader who engenders the passion necessary for students of all levels and abilities to develop academically, culturally, socially, physically and spiritually. Throughout his career, Andrew has demonstrated a strong capacity to build dynamic teams and unify and engage communities.

Dr Parry was commissioned as the fifth Principal of Kinross Wolaroi School in January 2017 after being the Deputy Headmaster of The King's School in Sydney for many years, where he earned the respect and admiration of students, staff, parents and alumni as an outstanding educator and passionate leader.

As Business Manager, Mr Delbridge is charged with contributing to, and delivering on, the strategic vision of the School in terms of its financial wellbeing and in the provision of resources to achieve the intended educational outcomes set by the School Council. At an operational level, Mr Delbridge is responsible to the Principal for all corporate support functions in the School including financial management, admissions, engagement, property, catering, transport, health services and human resources matters. Mr Delbridge is a member of the School’s Senior Management Team and serves as Clerk to the School Council and to the Kinross Wolaroi Foundation.

Mr Delbridge began his career with Ernst & Young in Sydney before moving into a corporate role in the financial services sector and then into private practice following a move from Sydney to the Central West. Mr Delbridge joined Kinross Wolaroi School in March 2016 as Finance Manager and in this role has provided professional oversight and leadership to the accounting and financial administration functions of the School. He was appointed by the Kinross Wolaroi School Council as Business Manager and Clerk to the Council in February 2019.

Mr Delbridge holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and is admitted as a Chartered Accountant.

Trent is well known to our School community having made an outstanding contribution to the holistic life of the School over many years. During his time at Kinross Wolaroi he has served with distinction in various capacities including Head Mentor of McLachlan House, Head of Weymouth House, Acting Head of Boys Boarding, Army Cadet Officer and teacher of Technology and Applied Science, and Computing Studies. 

He is a passionate leader with over 20 years’ experience in leading independent schools and has forged a reputation for his ability to develop strong communities and promoting positive culture in all aspects of his professional practice. Trent has also taught in a number of British schools that afforded him opportunities in diverse socio-economic and cultural demographics. This has enabled him to develop a broad base of experience and has shaped his approach that focusses on respect, building strong relationships and developing the whole student.

Prior to Trent’s appointment at Kinross Wolaroi in 2010, he was a strong contributor to the life of The Scots College in Sydney where he was Housemaster of Brandt House (Day), Deputy Housemaster of McIntyre and Royale Boarding Houses, Master in Charge of Rugby and ICT Advisor.

Trent has a Bachelor of Education (Computing) and Bachelor of Teaching from University of New England, and a Graduate Certificate in Information Technology from Charles Sturt University. He has also completed the National Excellence in School Leadership (NESLI) Colloquium conducted by the Australian School of Applied Management. Trent is a graduate of Red Bend College in Forbes, where he was a boarding student for six years.

Mrs Milliken joined the school in 2022 and is well versed in every aspect of Junior School management. She is well known to staff, students and families. Prior to commencing at Kinross Wolaroi, Mrs Milliken had extensive experience in a number of schools and has also worked in curriculum development and compliance for the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.

Ms Anthony commenced at Kinross Wolaroi School in 2012 as the Coordinator of Instrumental Music. She had previously taught in Canberra where she had been the Acting Head of Music at Radford College. Ms Anthony grew up in the country and was keen to settle in a rural area after her time spent in Canberra. Since 2016, Ms Anthony has held the position of Head of Performing Arts at Kinross Wolaroi and has been actively involved in Performing Arts Co-curricular activities. In addition to her work with Choirs and Bands in the Music program, she has undertaken the roles of Musical Director, and then Director of Kinross Wolaroi School Senior School Musicals. She is a keen supporter of the local theatre and arts scene and has developed strong community connections in the Central West through these platforms, which complement her work with Performing Arts at Kinross Wolaroi. As a passionate Music and Drama teacher, Ms Anthony is an advocate for Arts Education and was a founding member of the ACT Music Educators Network.

Ms Anthony holds a Bachelor of Music from the Australian National University, and a Diploma of Education from the University of Canberra. She also completed a leadership program as part of the National Excellence in Schools Leadership Initiative.

Olivia Kite was appointed Head of Student Wellbeing in January 2022.

Olivia forged an outstanding reputation as Head of Quinn House at Waverley College and as a high performing Senior HSIE teacher and HSC Marker. Olivia was directly responsible for the pastoral care of 180 students and was instrumental in the development and implementation of Waverley College's Wellbeing Framework and Curriculum. She led the Wellbeing Team in incorporating the framework into the Waverley Wellbeing Curriculum.

At Waverley College Olivia was the Water Polo Convenor and led the Red Earth Immersion Program that sought to educate non-indigenous Australians about the hardships and day to day struggles of remote Indigenous communities.

Olivia grew up in a small country town prior to moving to Sydney to attend University. Growing up in the country has allowed her to acknowledge the role and importance of a strong community and the numerous benefits a sense of belonging can have for individuals. Developing a strong sense of community has been a key objective during her time as a Head of House.

She has regularly designed and presented parent information sessions in supporting student wellbeing, assisting with School transitions and identifying at-risk behaviours based on current research and best practice. Olivia was also the recipient of the Percy Waterson Excellence in Teaching Scholarship at Waverley College.

Olivia has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Teaching from the University of Sydney and is soon to complete a Master of Education (Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing) from Flinders University.

Mr Trent Dyer was appointed to the Senior Management role of Director of Academic Systems and Analytics in 2022.

Trent's previous experience as Program Manager for the National Aboriginal Sporting Chance Academy involved extensive data analytics in securing Government funding. As Head of PDHPE he has developed ICT systems enabling data analysis to steer pedagogy and also interpreted and analyzed RAP data to drive innovative strategies to improve HSC results. 

Prior to commencing at Kinross Wolaroi School, Trent had extensive involvement at Newington College, and as Program Manager for the NASCA in Redfern where he was responsible for the management of staff and the provision of academic support for Indigenous students across the State and remote communities in the Northern Territory. This role saw Trent providing learning support across all subject areas; delivering Stage 6 PDHPE; writing Government reports, and funding applications. 

Trent has a Bachelor of Education in Human Movement and Health Education (Secondary) from the University of Sydney and a Diploma of Business from the Australian Vocational Training Academy. He loves the challenge of empowering students to realise their potential and to develop the skills required to succeed in a progressive society. 

Mrs Hannah Whittemore, (BA English Literature), Grad Dip of Ed (Sec) ACU, MLeadership (Deakin)

Mrs Hannah Whittemore has joined Kinross Wolaroi School this year as the new Head of  Girls Boarding. Hannah joins us with 7 years of boarding and pastoral experience from Ascham School in Sydney and most recently St Vincent's College in Potts Point.

Hannah’s focus is to ensure the support of boarders in their studies through boarders’ Prep, and to work closely with the day school to communicate academic needs in the boarding environment.

Mr Matthew Byrne was appointed Head of Boys Boarding in September, 2022.

Matthew has had extensive experience in Australian, New Zealand and British Boarding Schools. Previously the Head of Boarding at Plymouth College in the UK,  Matthew was also the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Master in Charge of Cricket. He has also spent six years on the staff at Knox Grammar School in Sydney where he was a Boarding Master, teacher of PDHPE and Head of Track and Field.

Matthew has forged a strong reputation for pastoral care and created environments where students have thrived and had nurturing and rewarding residential experiences. He has created a culture of community service within the boarding community at Plymouth College and led some excellent wellbeing initiatives to support his boarders during the challenges of lockdown and remote learning.

He is also first XI Cricket Coach and has led tours to South Africa and Sri Lanka.

Matthew has a Bachelor of Science, Sport Science and Recreation Management (2nd class Honours) and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Physical Education) from Loughborough University, UK.

Prior to teaching at Plymouth College and Knox Grammar School, Matthew was a Boarding Master at Scots College, Wellington, New Zealand.

Joe Priest is well known to the School community and commenced on the staff in 2006. Joe has been the Director of Sport since 2012 and has fulfilled the roles of Acting Head of Gordon House, and has been Master in Charge of many sports within our extensive co-curricular program.

In August 2021 he was appointed as Director of Sport & Co-curricular.

Joe holds a Bachelor of Human Movement and Recreation and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Secondary) (PD/Health/Phys. Ed.) from Charles Sturt University, as well as a Certificate III - Fitness.

Mrs Sue-Ann Gavin has been with Kinross Wolaroi School for 13 years and is well known to the School community, having undertaken many roles of responsibility within the School with distinction. Positions have included Year 7 Coordinator, Head of Loader House, SRC Coordinator, TREE Coordinator and the Head of Social Science. Sue-Ann was appointed as the Director of The Regional Engagement Enterprise (TREE) in January 2020 and in 2022 was appointed Director of International & Regional Engagement.

Sue-Ann has a Bachelor of Education (Secondary Social Science) from the University of Sydney and has completed the NESLI Lead and Expert Leadership Colloquium. She has also had the opportunity to explore and examine diverse educational settings in the United States, Singapore and Victoria. 

Jennifer was appointed as the Head of Marketing and Communications at the beginning of 2019.

Previously, Jennifer worked at Waverley College in Sydney where she was the Marketing Manager for 7 years. Prior to her appointment as the departmental lead, Jennifer was the Registrar (Admissions Manager) for Waverley College for two years.

For 20 years prior to joining Waverley College in 2010, Jennifer built a successful career in advertising, communications and media management, fundraising and public relations. She will bring this broad range of skills and experience, combined with a strong understanding of school marketing built up over the last eight years, to bear for the benefit of Kinross Wolaroi School.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, with majors in Public Relations and Communication from the University of Canberra.
