Over the weekend, The Kinross Wolaroi Swim Team competed at the Mountains and Plains district Championships and placed 4th overall on the point score.

Team members Matt Lowther, Kyla Brown, Tom Cornelius- Feltus, Bianca Fuller, all crowned age champions for the meet, while Hugh Gillham and Emily Clunas were crowned Open champions.

There were some fantastic swim achievements over the weekend with a huge amount of personal best times.

Congratulations to Coach Theresa for her squads’ performances. The Provost girls preformed great with Chloe receiving several medals and sister Isabelle swimming a massive 9 second & 6.5 second personal best times.

Ben Howe had his first meet ever and collected several medals and Nic Strahorn received a silver medal. Grace Lowther earned herself a silver medal while her brother Matt took home 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Charlotte Williams medalled in the 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly. Spencer Williams received a bronze medal and Edwina Waterman had two big swims in the 800 & 400 freestyle winning both and taking home 2 silver medals. Chloe McGilvray won the 50m Breaststroke and several bronze medals.

New student Anise Olah impressed with some great swims.
