Our place-based education philosophy connects our students with nature, sustainability and community. A recent public webinar brought all of these together, with a focus on our future.
To support the school's place-based learning philosophy and build connection with the wider community, the School's Regional Engagement Enterprise staged a Climate Change Q&A Webinar on 24 June 2020, inviting local community members, students, parents and staff to join our panellists and guest presenters.
Our dynamic presenters/guests included:
• Kate Hook, Futuring Orange Founder and Ecoluxe Transfers business owner
• Dr Andrew Rawson, Associate Professor, Charles Sturt University
• Dr Simon Wright, Environmental Researcher and Consultant
• Lara O’Brien, Kinross Wolaroi student and UNICEF Youth Drought Summit representative.
