Scholarships and Bursaries

To acknowledge our diverse student population and encourage excellence, Kinross Wolaroi School offers a number of Scholarships to day and boarding students (both current and future) entering Years 5, 7 to 11.

Scholarships are awarded in the following categories:

• Academic Scholarship - Year 5, and Years 7 - 11
• Boarding Scholarship - Years 7 - 11
• Music Scholarship & Crescendo Music Scholarship - Years 7 - 11
• Ex-Students' Scholarship - Year 11 
• General Excellence Scholarship - Years 9 - 11 

To be considered for a Scholarship, all applicants must sit the Academic Scholarship Examination which is held on site at Kinross Wolaroi School. Applicants must also complete an online application and submit supporting documentation as outlined in the guidelines.

2026 Scholarships

Our 2025 Scholarship and Bursary program is now closed.

Registrations for our 2026 program will be open from 1 October 2024 until 24 January 2025. Our scholarship examination is provided by ACER Scholarship Tests. ACER provides independent educational testing services to our School and also operates the registration process. The scholarship examination dates for 2025 are to be advised. Indigenous Scholarships

Each year, the school supports a number of First Nations students via scholarships. Most are awarded scholarships via the Yalari program. Find out more HERE.

The Margot Pegum Scholarship for Girls

This 100% scholarship covers all fees for a selected candidate commencing in Year 7 for the duration of their education. The Margot Pegum Scholarship was awarded in 2023 and will be offered periodically in the future, with availability to be advertised on this page.
