Giving
We recognise the necessity to plan and provide for our school's future to ensure it remains a leader in education. We are very grateful for generosity of past generations of our families and alumni who have contributed to building the great school we have today, and encourage our current community to contribute to the school in support of current and future generations of students.
Gifts can transform our school. There are various ways you can donate to Kinross Wolaroi to support the work of our Foundation. Contributions may be be made to our Scholarship fund to support financial bursaries and promote student excellence; to our building fund to develop and maintain our school facilities; to support and develop school sport; and to promote teaching excellence. Our community may also choose to bequest monies, shares, property, or an endowment. All donations will have a significant impact on the lives of our students.
END OF FINANCIAL YEAR APPEAL
As the end of the 2022/23 financial year approaches, we are calling on our community to consider making a tax deductible donation to support the school's scholarship and building programs - read more below.
All gifts are gratefully acknowledged. Please use our convenient online giving platform to make your gift by clicking on the buttons below, or contact our Accounts Team on 6392 0314 to make a payment over the phone. You can also complete our donation form and return it to us along with your cheque, credit card details or bank deposit details. All gifts will be acknowledged in the school newsletter and magazine.
The Gym and Weights Room Appeal
Kinross Wolaroi School is seeing a resurgence in the success of our sports programs across all sports. With impressive coaching and player commitment and an off-field work ethic where physical preparation has become of paramount importance, our weights room has become too small to cater to the increasing demand: we simply have more students than ever investing in their health and fitness.
An expanded weights room and refurbished gym facility is being planned that will benefit all sports, as well as being accessed by PDHPE students, boarders and our juniors. It will include doubling the weights room floor space, new flooring, tracks for sprinting and sled pulling and a full equipment upgrade. Scheduled for completion over the 2024/25 Christmas break, the total cost will be in excess of $250k and we are calling on our community to assist with this significant investment. Please consider supporting this project with a tax-deductible donation to ensure our students continue to thrive.
All donations to the Gym and Weights Room Appeal are tax-deductible.
Scholarship Appeal
Your donation can provide a Kinross Wolaroi education to children who would otherwise be unable to benefit from the academic and extra-curricular opportunities offered by our outstanding school. Your donation will help children to thrive in a community that values a great education and creates a sense of connection for its members.
Scholarships are given to encourage excellence (academic, musical, leadership) and to alleviate family or personal hardship. In giving to the scholarship fund you can be certain that your contribution will have a direct and meaningful impact on the life of a young person. Please give generously to give them the best possible start in life and to support our school’s tradition of inclusiveness.
All donations to the Scholarship Appeal are tax deductible.

Academic Scholarship
THE FOUNDATION
The Kinross Wolaroi School Foundation was established in 1987 and has contributed to the School's growth through significant capital raisings to fund the acquisition the School’s farming properties and the construction of school buildings and by helping with scholarships and bursaries for students.
Despite the present strength and recent achievements of Kinross Wolaroi, the School must continue to develop its facilities and to insure against other factors which may threaten the School's independence. Government funding, economic and enrolment fluctuations, and future physical and educational requirements are such examples.
The Kinross Wolaroi School Foundation acts as Trustee for three Trust Funds, which are detailed below.
The Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Fund accepts donations that directly support opportunities for students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend Kinross Wolaroi.
Your donation can provide a Kinross Wolaroi education to children who would otherwise be unable to benefit from the academic and extra-curricular opportunities offered by our outstanding school. Your donation will help children to thrive in a community that values a great education and creates a sense of connection for its members.

All donations to the Kinross Wolaroi School Building Fund (ABN 54 645 079 607) are tax-deductible.
The Education Fund
The objective of the Education Trust Fund is to provide financial assistance to the School in the furtherance of strategic objectives. The Education Trust Fund currently supports an annual award of a Kinross Wolaroi Foundation Teacher Fellowship, which provides an opportunity for a member of the teaching faculty to undertake intensive research and study over a period of one term into an area of strategic importance to the School. The Education Fund also supports staff development, specialist teachers and other educational needs determined by the School Council from time to time.
