Williams House History
Williams House was established in 2016 and named after Rev David Williams, former Principal of Kinross Wolaroi School (2002 to 2006).
Born in New Zealand, Rev David Williams undertook his tertiary studies in Canberra and Melbourne. Prior to his appointment as the third Principal of Kinross Wolaroi School, Rev Williams had been Headmaster at Saint Kentigern College, Auckland, one of New Zealand’s leading independent colleges.
David Williams brought to the school strategic planning capabilities and saw the introduction of the school’s Strategic Vision Statement. He also implemented a successful performance based assessment process to encourage the high quality of teaching excellence within the school. Rev Williams was passionate in ensuring appropriate Pastoral Care for all students and seeing opportunities to utilise the talents and skills of the senior year student, he pro-actively introduced a prefects’ program that extended the traditional role of student leadership.
